Colli di Imola (Emilia-Romagna)
Merlot (50%), Cabernet Sauvignon (50%)
|
Red Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✧ |
Colli di Imola Rosso Boldo shows an intense ruby red color and nuances of
ruby red, little transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing
and refined aromas that start with hints of black currant, black cherry and
plum followed by aromas of violet, blueberry, blackberry, vanilla, tobacco
and cocoa. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a properly tannic
attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors,
pleasing roundness. The finish is persistent with flavors of black currant,
black cherry and plum. Colli di Imola Rosso Boldo ages in barrique for 6
months. |
