This Moscadello di Montalcino shows a pale golden yellow color and nuances
of golden yellow, transparent. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing
and refined aromas which start with hints of raisin, dried apricot and
lychee followed by aromas of candied fruits, almond, honey, citrus fruit
peel, sage, lavender and nail polish. The mouth has good correspondence to
the nose, a sweet and round attack, however balanced by alcohol, good body,
intense flavors, pleasing crispness. The finish is persistent with flavors
of raisin, dried apricot and honey. Thish Moscadello di Montalcino ages for
6 months in barrique. |
