Score: ✧✧✧✧✧ |
Trento Brut Riserva Methius shows a pale straw yellow color and nuances of
greenish yellow, very transparent, fine and persistent perlage. The nose
reveals intense, clean, pleasing, refined and elegant aromas which start
with hints of banana, apple and bread crust followed by aromas of kiwi,
acacia, yeast, pear, plum, grapefruit, hazelnut, hawthorn and hints of
vanilla. The mouth has excellent correspondence to the nose, an
effervescent and crisp attack, however balanced by alcohol, good body,
intense flavors, agreeable. The finish is very persistent with long flavors
of banana, apple and kiwi. Part of the Chardonnay used for the base wine
ferments in barrique. Trento Brut Riserva Methius referments in bottle on
its lees for 5 years. |
