Barbera d'Alba Superiore Marun 2011
Barbera d'Alba (Piedmont)
Barbera d'Alba Superiore Marun shows an intense ruby red color and nuances
of ruby red, little transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing
and refined aromas that start with hints of cherry, plum and blueberry
followed by aromas of violet, blackberry, vanilla, tobacco, chocolate and
menthol. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a properly tannic
attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors,
pleasing crispness. The finish is persistent with flavors of cherry, plum
and blackberry. Barbera d'Alba Superiore Marun ages for 18 months in
barrique. |
