Roero La Val dei Preti 2011
Roero (Piedmont)
Roero La Val dei Preti shows a brilliant ruby red color and nuances of ruby
red, moderate transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and
refined aromas that start with hints of cherry, plum and raspberry followed
by aromas of violet, rose, vanilla, tobacco, cocoa and menthol. The mouth
has good correspondence to the nose, a tannic attack and however balanced
by alcohol, full body, intense flavors, pleasing crispness. The finish is
persistent with flavors of cherry, plum and raspberry. Roero La Val dei
Preti ages for 18 months in barrique. |
