(Umbria)
Chardonnay, Verdello, Procanico

Sparkling Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✭ |
Decugnano Brut Metodo Classico shows a brilliant greenish yellow color and
nuances of greenish yellow, very transparent, fine and persistent perlage.
The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas which start
with hints of apple, plum and bread crust followed by aromas of banana,
pear, citrus fruits, yeast and hawthorn. The mouth has good correspondence
to the nose, an effervescent and crisp attack, however balanced by alcohol,
good body, intense flavors, agreeable. The finish is persistent with
flavors of apple, plum and banana. Decugnano Brut Metodo Classico
referments in bottle on its lees for at least 60 months. |
