This Montefalco Rosso shows a brilliant ruby red color nuances of garnet
red, moderate transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and
refined aromas which start with hints of black cherry, plum and blackberry
followed by aromas of violet, blueberry, raspberry, tobacco and vanilla.
The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a properly tannic attack
and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, agreeable. The
finish is persistent with flavors of black cherry, plum and blueberry.
This Montefalco Rosso ages for 9 months in cask, 3 months in cement tanks
followed by 6 months of aging in bottle. |

Interessante interpretazione di questo rosso umbro, del resto questa cantina costituisce sempre una buona certezza che non smentisce in questo vino.
Diretto e piacevole, senza eccessive complicazioni, unisce la gioiosa freschezza e piacevolezza del Sangiovese alla severità del Sagrantino.
Notevole versatilità a tavola, vino che si sposa con primi anche complessi e secondi di media struttura.
