Gemella 2013
(Tuscany)
Sauvignon Blanc
|
White Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✧ |
Gemella shows a brilliant greenish yellow color and nuances of greenish
yellow, very transparent. The nose reveals intense, clean, pleasing and
refined aromas which start with hints of peach, pineapple and elder
followed by aromas of gooseberry, pear, nettle, apple, grapefruit, broom
and lychee. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack
and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, agreeable. The
finish is persistent with flavors of peach, pineapple and gooseberry.
Gemella ages for 6 months in steel tanks followed by 3 months of aging in
bottle. |
