 Brilliant straw yellow and nuances of straw yellow, very transparent.
 Intense, clean, pleasing, refined and elegant, starts with hints of apple, plum and hazelnut followed by aromas of citrus fruits, dried apricot, almond, pear, vanilla, candied fruits, hawthorn, butter, honey, flint and mineral.
 Crisp attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing roundness.
 Very persistent finish with long flavors of apple, plum and almond.
 8 months in barrique.

Vino degustato in occasione dell'evento DiWineTaste dedicato a Luigi Maffini. Non posso che confermare i cinque diamanti assegnati visto che si tratta di un vino straordinario in tutto e per tutto.
Iniziamo dai profumi: complesso e ampio, si ritrovano profumi ricchi di frutta a polpa bianca (mela, pera) ma anche miele e nocciola, fino a frutta esotica e sentori minerali. Il legno non è per niente invasivo e lascia spazio alla freschezza e pulizia del vino.
Il gusto non è da meno, nella sua bella freschezza tipica del Fiano e una morbidezza finemente equilibrata, un finale praticamente infinito.
Un vino bianco grandissimo come pochi se ne producono nel nostro paese.
