Brilliant ruby red and nuances of brick red, moderate transparency. Intense, clean, pleasing and refined, starts with hints of cherry, plum and dried violet followed by aromas of raspberry, dried rose, vanilla, chocolate, tobacco, cinnamon, licorice and menthol. Tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, full body, intense flavors, pleasing crispness. Persistent finish with flavors of cherry, raspberry and plum. 2 years in cask, 1 year in bottle.
