Intense ruby red and nuances of ruby red, little transparency. Intense, clean, pleasing and refined, start with hints of black cherry, plum and blackberry followed by aromas of violet, black currant, blueberry, vanilla, chocolate and black pepper. Tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, full body, intense flavors, agreeable. Persistent finish with flavors of black cherry, blackberry and black currant. 12 months in barrique, 6 months in bottle.
