 Brilliant ruby red and nuances of ruby red, moderate transparency.
 Intense, clean, pleasing and refined, starts with hints of plum jam, black cherry jam and dried violet followed by aromas of blackberry jam, tobacco, chocolate, leather, licorice, vanilla and menthol.
 Properly tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing roundness.
 persistent finish with flavors of plum jam, blackberry jam and black cherry jam.
 10 months in barrique and at least 18 months in bottle.
