This wine shows a ruby red color with soft nuances of purplish red. The nose is intense and mainly of fruit with evident aromas of black cherry, black fruit, blueberry and plum jam. Moreover, good aromas of violet, vanilla and wood are perceived as well. With good body and intense flavors, this wine has good and well balanced tannins. The finish is persistent with clean flavors of plum jam. This Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is produced by temperature controlled maceration and is aged in barrique for 8-12 months followed by 6-8 months in bottle.
