Intense ruby red and nuances of garnet red, little transparency. Intense, clean, pleasing, refined and elegant, starts with hints of black cherry, plum and blackberry followed by aromas of violet, blueberry, iris, vanilla, cocoa, licorice, leather, mace, tobacco and menthol. Tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, full body, intense flavors, pleasing roundness. Persistent finish with flavors of blackberry, plum and black cherry. 12 months in barrique, 4 months in steel tanks, 6 months in bottle.
