Alto Adige Lagrein Riserva Taber 2001
Alto Adige (Alto Adige)
The wine shows a deep ruby red color and nuances of ruby red, little
transparency. The nose reveals good personality with intense, clean,
pleasing, elegant and refined aromas which start with hints of black
cherry and blueberry followed by good aromas of raspberry, cyclamen,
blackberry, plum, violet, vanilla, licorice and pleasing hints of cocoa
and coriander. In the mouth has very good correspondence to the nose, a
slightly tannic attack and however well balanced by alcohol, full body,
intense flavors, good tannins. The finish is persistent with good flavors
of black cherry, plum and blackberry. A well made wine. This Lagrein ages
for one year in barrique.
