The wine shows a deep ruby red color and nuances of ruby red, impenetrable to light. The nose reveals personality with intense, clean, pleasing, elegant and refined aromas which start with good hints of blackberry jam and blueberry jam followed by black cherry jam, plum jam, walnut, tobacco, licorice, dried violet, vanilla, chocolate and hints of caramel, cinnamon and clove. In the mouth has very good correspondence to the nose, a slightly tannic and sweet attack however well balanced by alcohol, full body, intense flavors, good tannins, agreeable. The finish is very persistent with long flavors of blackberry jam, black cherry jam and blueberry jam. A very well made wine. This Recioto ages in cask for 14 months and in bottle for 14 months.
