Score: ✧✧✧✭ |
The wine shows a garnet red color, moderate transparency. The nose is clean and
well defined, rich of intense fruit aromas such as black cherry, strawberry jam,
raspberry, blackberry, dried plum followed by violet and hints of leather, anise
and menthol. The mouth has a good correspondence to the nose and denotes good
flavors of fruit and a good balance between alcohol and tannins. A wine of
good elegance and personality. The finish is persistent with pleasing flavors
of black cherry, blackberry and strawberry jam. The wine is produced with skins
maceration for 25 days followed by a 16 months aging in cask. |
