Sweet Wine |
Score: ✧✧✭ |
The wine has a amber yellow color and nuances of golden yellow, very transparent.
The olfactory profile is rich and intense, mainly oriented to candied and dried
fruit. There can be perceived good aromas of dried apricot, candied fruit, peach
jam, almond, hazelnut, walnut, pastry, citrus fruit peel, raisin and grape
macerated in alcohol. In the mouth the wine denotes a good roundness, followed
by good alcohol as well as good correspondence to the nose. The finish is
pretty persistent with evident flavors of peach jam and dried apricot. Grapes
used for the production of this wine are dried until February and the must is
fermented in steel tanks. The wine is subsequently aged for 6 months in barrique
and 6 more months in bottle.
