The wine shows a brilliant ruby red color and nuances of garnet red, moderate
transparency. The nose reveals, besides fruit aromas, a very pleasing hint of
sage as well as aromas of black cherry, blueberry and vanilla and hints of
menthol. The flavor of sage is also found in the mouth as well as flavors of
fruit. The wine is intense, good balanced between tannins and alcohol, and has
good body. Wood flavors is balanced and not intrusive. The finish is persistent
with pleasing flavors of black cherry, blueberry and hints of sage. This wine is
produced with fermentation in steel tanks and a maceration of skins for 5 days
followed by a 12 month aging in barrique.
