Score: ✧✧✧✧ |
The wine shows an intense ruby red color and nuances of garnet red, little
transparency. The nose reveals good personality with intense, clean,
pleasing and elegant aromas that start with hints of cherry, raspberry and
rose followed by aromas of strawberry, blueberry, plum, blackberry, violet
and vanilla. In the mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a slightly
tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors,
good tannins, agreeable. The finish is persistent with flavors of
blueberry, raspberry and black cherry. A well made wine. Mascarpine ages
in cask for at least 12 months followed by an aging in bottle of at least 6
months.
