Brilliant ruby red and nuances of garnet red, moderate transparency. Intense, clean, pleasing, refined and elegant, starts with hints of cherry, plum and rose followed by aromas of violet, strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, red orange, chocolate, cinnamon, tobacco, mace, leather, graphite, vanilla and menthol. Properly tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing crispness. Persistent finish with flavors of cherry, plum and strawberry. 12 months in cask, 12 months in steel tanks, at least 12 months in bottle.
