Pallagrello Nero
|
Red Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✧ |
The wine shows an intense ruby red color and nuances of ruby red, little
transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas
which start with hints of violet and plum followed by aromas of black
cherry, blackberry, blueberry, licorice, tobacco, pink pepper, cocoa and
vanilla. In the mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a slightly
tannic attack and pleasing crispness, however well balanced by alcohol,
good body, intense flavors. The finish is persistent with flavors of plum
and black cherry. A well made wine. Pallagrello Nero ages in barrique for
about 15 months followed by at least 3 months of aging in bottle.
