Casavecchia

Red Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✧✭ |
This wine shows a deep ruby red color and nuances of ruby red, little
transparency. The nose reveals good personality with intense, clean,
pleasing and refined aromas which start with hints of black cherry,
raspberry and blackberry followed by aromas of blueberry, plum, violet,
vanilla, licorice, carob and cinnamon. In the mouth has good correspondence
to the nose, a slightly tannic attack and however well balanced by alcohol,
good body, intense flavors. The finish is persistent with flavors of black
cherry, raspberry and blackberry. A well made wine. Casavecchia ages for
about 15 months in barrique followed by at least 3 months of aging in
bottle.
