Vignamare 2001
Lupi (Italy)
(Liguria)
This wine shows a pale golden yellow color and nuances of straw yellow,
very transparent. The nose reveals intense, clean and pleasing aromas which
start with hints of toasted wood, apple and plum followed by aromas of
broom, peach, banana and hawthorn. In the mouth has good correspondence to
the nose, a crisp attack and however well balanced by alcohol, good body,
intense flavors, agreeable. The finish is persistent with flavors of plum,
apple and banana. Part of this wine ages in barrique.
