Deep ruby red and nuances of garnet red, little transparency.

Intense, clean, pleasing, refined and elegant, starts with hints of black currant, black cherry and violet followed by aromas of blueberry, plum, cocoa, tobacco, licorice, leather, mace, vanilla and menthol.

Properly tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing roundness.

Persistent finish with flavors of black currant, black cherry and blueberry.

12 months in barrique, 12 months in bottle.


Alcohol: 14%

Roasted meat, Braised and stewed meat, Hard cheese

Colli Orientali del Friuli (Friuli-Venezia Giulia) The wine shows a pale straw yellow color and nuances of greenish yellow, very transparent. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing, refined and elegant aromas which start with hints of peach, pear and lemon followed by aromas of apple, pineapple, gooseberry, white rose, acacia, broom, hazelnut and vanilla. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and pleasing smoothness, however well balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors. The finish is persistent with flavors of lemon, pear and peach. A well made wine. Part of this Pinot Blanc ages in steel tanks and the other part in barrique.

Alcohol: 13.5%

Pasta and risotto with fish and crustaceans, Vegetables pudding, Sauteed crustaceans

Intense, clean, pleasing, refined and elegant, starts with hints of apple, pear and acacia followed by aromas of pineapple, hawthorn, peach, white rose, broom, lemon, plum, hazelnut and mineral.

Crisp attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, agreeable.

Persistent finish with flavors of apple, pineapple and peach.

Aged in steel tanks.

Pasta with fish and vegetables, Sauteed fish, Sauteed white meat, Fried fish, Dairy products

Persistent finish with flavors of gooseberry, pineapple and grapefruit.

Aged in steel tanks.

(Friuli-Venezia Giulia) The wine shows a deep ruby red color and nuances of ruby red, little transparency. The nose reveals intense, clean, pleasing, refined and elegant aromas which start with hints of black currant, plum and black cherry followed by aromas of blueberry, violet, vanilla, licorice, tobacco, cocoa, cinnamon, mace, menthol and pink pepper. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a tannic attack and however well balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing smoothness. The finish is very persistent with long flavors of black currant, plum and black cherry. A well made wine. Focus Merlot ages for 12 months in barrique followed by 8 months of aging in bottle.
