Collio Bianco Col Disôre 2004
Collio (Friuli-Venezia Giulia)

White Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✧✧ |
Collio Bianco Col Disôre shows a brilliant straw yellow color and nuances
of straw yellow, very transparent. The nose reveals intense, clean,
pleasing, refined and elegant aromas which start with hints of pear, apple
and pineapple followed by aromas of broom, hawthorn, litchi, almond,
acacia, grapefruit, banana, mettle, peach, sage, plum and vanilla. The
mouth has very good correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and however
balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, agreeable. The finish is
very persistent with long flavors of apple, grapefruit and pineapple. A
well made wine. Collio Bianco Col Disôre ages for 12 months in cask
followed by about 12 months of aging in bottle.
