Score: ✧✧✧✧✭ |
This wine shows a brilliant amber yellow color and nuances of amber yellow,
transparent. The nose reveals intense, clean, pleasing, refined and elegant
aromas which start with hints of raisin, dried fig and almond followed by
aromas of peach jam, quince jam, candied fruits, vanilla, honey, citrus
fruit peel, date, lavender and caramel. The mouth has good correspondence
to the nose, a sweet and round attack, however balanced by alcohol, good
body, intense flavors, pleasing crispness. The finish is persistent with
flavors of raisin, dried fig and almond. A well made wine. Vino Passito
ages for 24 months in barrique followed by 6 months of aging in bottle. |
