(Sardinia) The wine shows a brilliant ruby red color and nuances of ruby red, moderate transparency. The nose reveals personality with clean, intense and elegant aromas of black cherry, carob, blueberry, plum and violet followed by nuances of licorice. In mouth denotes good correspondence to the nose, an alcoholic attack however well balanced by tannins, intense flavors and good body. The finish is persistent with good flavors of blueberry and black berry. Araja ages in concrete and steel tanks followed by at least 6 months of aging in bottle.

Alcohol: 13.5%

Roasted meat, Sauteed meat with mushrooms, Hard cheese

Carignano del Sulcis (Sardinia) The wine has an intense ruby red color and nuances of ruby red, little transparency. The nose reveals good personality with elegant, clean, intense and pleasing aromas of black cherry, strawberry jam, blackberry jam, peach jam, raspberry, plum, iris and violet followed by good aromas of eucalyptus, licorice, tobacco and vanilla. In mouth denotes good correspondence to the nose, a slightly tannic attack well balanced by alcohol, round and agreeable, with intense flavors and good body. The finish is persistent with flavors of plum, blueberry and raspberry. A well made wine. Rocca Rubia is aged for 8-12 months in barrique followed by 6 months of aging in bottle.

Carignano del Sulcis (Sardinia) The wine shows an intense ruby red color and nuances of garnet red, little transparency. The nose reveals personality with intense, elegant, clean and refined aromas, very pleasing, of strawberry jam, blackberry jam, peach jam, raspberry, blueberry, plum, iris and violet followed by good aromas of carob, vanilla, licorice and mint. In mouth denotes good correspondence to the nose, round and smooth, very balanced, full body and intense flavors. The finish is persistent with pleasing and clean flavors of plum, blueberry and peach jam. A well made wine. Terre Brune is aged for 15-18 months in barrique and for 12 months in bottle.

Alcohol: 14%

The nose denotes pleasing, clean and elegant aromas of banana, hawthorn, kiwi, almond, apple, honey, pear, peach and sage. In mouth has good correspondence to the nose, an alcoholic attack however balanced, intense flavors. The finish is persistent with flavors of peach, pear and banana. Pedraia ages in steel tanks and concrete containers.

Alcohol: 13%

The nose reveals pleasing, intense and clean aromas of banana, broom, wistaria, kiwi, lemon, pear, apple, gooseberry followed by good aromas of fennel and vanilla. In mouth denotes good correspondence to the nose, good balance, intense flavors, agreeable. The finish is persistent with good flavors of apple, banana and pear. Cala Silente partly ages in barrique and partly in steel tanks.

(Sardinia) The wine shows an intense straw yellow color and nuances of straw yellow, very transparent. The nose reveals a clear aroma of toasted wood as well as pleasing aromas of banana, hawthorn, coffee, pear and vanilla. In the mouth has good correspondence to the nose, with the flavor of toasted wood clearly perceivable, a round attack however balanced, good body and intense flavors. The finish is persistent with flavors of toasted wood, coffee and banana. Villa di Chiesa ferments in barrique and ages for 5-8 months in barrique followed by an aging of at least 2 months in bottle.

Alcohol: 14%
