This wine shows a beautiful and deep ruby red color and nuances of ruby
red, little transparency. The nose has personality with intense, clean,
refined, elegant and pleasing aromas of black cherry, carob, blueberry,
blackberry, black currant, plum and violet followed by intense and good
aromas of caper, ink, licorice, leather, black pepper and vanilla. In the
mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a slightly tannic attack
however balanced by alcohol, intense flavors and full body. The finish is
persistent with good and intense flavors of black cherry, blueberry and
plum. A very well made wine. Roggio del Filare ages in barrique.
