Colline Novaresi Nebbiolo Cordero della Zoina Mot 2004
Colline Novaresi (Piedmont)
The wine shows a brilliant ruby red color and nuances of brick red,
moderate transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and
refined aromas that start with hints of black cherry, plum and strawberry
followed by aromas of violet, vanilla, tobacco, cocoa and tar. The mouth
has good correspondence to the nose, a tannic attack and pleasing
crispness, however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors. The
finish is persistent with flavors of black cherry, strawberry and plum.
This wine ages for 24 months in barrique followed by 5 months in steel
tanks and at least 12 months in bottle.
