Colli Tortonesi Cortese Dunin 2007
Colli Tortonesi (Piedmont)
Cortese (70%), Chardonnay (30%)
|
White Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✭ |
Colli Tortonesi Cortese Dunin shows an intense greenish yellow color and
nuances of greenish yellow, very transparent. The nose denotes intense,
clean, pleasing and refined aromas which start with hints of pear, plum and
hawthorn followed by aromas of peach, apple, broom, orange and hints of
vanilla. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and
however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing
roundness. The finish is persistent with flavors of pear, plum and apple. A
part of this wine ages in barrique. |
