(Sicily)
Nero d'Avola (90%), Frappato (10%)
|
Red Wine |
Score: ✧✧✭ |
Corvo Sciaranera shows a brilliant ruby red color and nuances of purple
red, moderate transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean and pleasing
aromas which start with hints of black cherry, plum and raspberry followed
by aromas of blackberry, blueberry and strawberry. The mouth has good
correspondence to the nose, a slightly tannic attack and however balanced
by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing crispness. The finish is
persistent with flavors of black cherry, blackberry and raspberry. Corvo
Sciaranera ages for 5 months in cement tanks followed by 2 months of aging
in bottle. |
