Barbera d'Asti Superiore Nizza Vigna delle Rose 2007
Barbera d'Asti (Piedmont)
Barbera d'Asti Superiore Nizza Vigna delle Rose shows an intense ruby red
color and nuances of garnet red, little transparency. The nose denotes
intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas that start with hints of
cherry, plum and violet followed by aromas of blueberry, vanilla, tobacco,
cocoa, pink pepper, mace and menthol. The mouth has good correspondence to
the nose, a slightly tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, good
body, intense flavors, agreeable. The finish is persistent with flavors of
cherry, plum and blueberry. Barbera d'Asti Superiore Nizza Vigna delle Rose
ages for 18 months in barrique. |
