Crozes Hermitage Rouge Nobles Rives 2001
Cave de Tain l'Hermitage (France)
Crozes-Hermitage (Vallée du Rhône)
The wine shows a brilliant ruby red color and nuances of ruby red, little
transparency. The nose reveals good personality with intense, clean and
pleasing aromas which start with hints of black cherry, plum and black
pepper followed by aromas of blueberry, blackberry, tobacco, licorice,
vanilla and hints of cocoa. In the mouth has good correspondence to the
nose, a slightly tannic and slightly crisp attack however balanced by
alcohol, good body, intense flavors, good tannins. The finish is persistent
with flavors of black cherry and plum. This Crozes Hermitage ages for 6-8
months in barrique.
