Kora Kodes 2002
Fratelli Serra (Italy)
(Sardinia)
Cabernet Sauvignon, Montepulciano, Barbera
|
Red Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧ |
The wine shows a brilliant ruby red color and nuances of garnet red,
moderate transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean and pleasing aromas
that start with hints of plum and black cherry followed by aromas of
blueberry, dried violet, licorice and toasted wood. In the mouth has good
correspondence to the nose, a slightly tannic and pleasing crisp attack
however balanced, good body, intense flavors, good tannins. The finish is
persistent with flavors of plum and black cherry. Kora Kodes ages in cask
for 6 months.
