Brilliant mahogany and nuances of mahogany, little transparency.

Intense, clean, pleasing, refined and elegant, starts with hints of raisin, dried fig and caramel followed by aromas of tamarind, date, clove, citrus fruit peel, candied fruits, bergamot, cinchona, rhubarb, licorice, leather, almond, hazelnut, coffee, mace, ginger, vanilla and nail polish.

Sweet and round attack, however balanced by crispness, full body, intense flavors, agreeable.

Very persistent finish with long flavors of raisin, dried fig and clove.

At least 10 years in caratelli barrels, at least 12 months in bottle.
