Score: ✧✧✧ |
The wine had an intense ruby red color with nuances of garnet red, little
transparency. The olfactory profile is very clean and of personality, and there
can be perceived aromas of black cherry, cinnamon, ripe cherry, chocolate, plum
jam, blueberry, black currant and vanilla. The mouth has a pretty tannic attack
which is promptly balanced by alcohol, present in good quantity. An intense and
full bodied wine. The finish is persistent with hints of black cherry, plum jam
and vanilla. Villa di Capezzana is produced in steel containers and is aged
in casks for eight months. |
