Score: ✧✧✧✧ |
The wine shows a brilliant ruby red color and nuances of ruby red,
moderate transparency. The nose reveals good personality with intense,
clean, pleasing, refined and elegant aromas which start with hints of
black cherry and black currant followed by aromas of blueberry, licorice,
tobacco, dried violet, vanilla and hints of black pepper and cocoa. In the
mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a slightly tannic attack and
however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, good tannins. The
finish is persistent with flavors of black cherry, black currant and
blueberry. This wine ages for 21 months in barrique, for 5 months in cask
followed by one year of aging in bottle.
