Brilliant garnet red and nuances of brick red, moderate transparency. Intense, clean, pleasing, refined and elegant, starts with hints of cherry, plum and dried violet followed by aromas of dried rose, raspberry, strawberry, cocoa, tobacco, cinnamon, licorice, vanilla and menthol. Properly tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing crispness. Persistent finish with flavors of cherry, plum and raspberry. 30 months in cask.

This Gattinara shows a brilliant ruby red color and nuances of garnet red, moderate transparency. The nose reveals intense, clean, pleasing, refined and elegant aromas which start with hints of cherry, geranium and violet followed by aromas of raspberry, plum, rose, vanilla, licorice, tobacco, cinnamon, menthol, leather, cocoa and thyme. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a slightly tannic attack, pleasing crispness, good roundness, however well balanced by alcohol, full body, intense flavors, good tannins. The finish is very persistent with long flavors of cherry, raspberry and plum. A well made wine. This Gattinara ages for at least 3 years in cask followed by 12 months of aging in bottle.

Properly tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, full body, intense flavors, pleasing crispness. Very persistent finish with long flavors of cherry, plum and raspberry. About 40 months in cask, 10 months in bottle.

The finish is persistent with flavors of cherry, plum and raspberry. A well made wine. This Gattinara ages for 3 years in cask and a small part for 10-12 months in barrique.

The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a pleasing crisp attack, slightly tannic and good roundness, however balanced by alcohol, full body, intense flavors, good tannins. The finish is persistent with flavors of cherry and plum. A well made wine. This Gattinara ages for 10-12 months in barrique.

Intense, clean, pleasing, refined and elegant, starts with hints of cherry, plum and dried violet followed by aromas of dried rose, raspberry, strawberry, tamarind, cinnamon, cocoa, tobacco, leather, vanilla and menthol. Tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, full body, intense flavors, agreeable. Very persistent finish with long flavors of cherry, plum and raspberry. Produced with dried grapes. 36 months in cask, 8 months in barrique.

Intense greenish yellow and nuances of straw yellow, very transparent. Intense, clean, pleasing and refined, starts with hints of apple, raspberry and tangerine followed by aromas of bread crust, cherry, strawberry, plum, hazelnut and rosemary. Effervescent and crisp attack, however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, agreeable. Persistent finish with flavors of apple, tangerine and hazelnut. Refermented in bottle and aged on its lees for at least 46 months.
