Score: ✧✧✧✧ |
This wine shows a deep ruby red color and nuances of ruby red, little
transparency. The nose reveals intense, clean, pleasing, elegant and
refined aromas which start with aromas of black cherry, blueberry and plum
followed by good and intense aromas of carob, tobacco, violet, licorice,
vanilla and pleasing hints of black pepper. In the mouth has good
correspondence to the nose, a slightly tannic attack however well balanced
by alcohol, full body, intense flavors. The finish is persistent with
flavors of black cherry, blueberry and plum. A well made wine. Il Falcone
ages for 12-14 months in barrique and for 1 year in bottle.
