Antinoo 2005
(Latium)
Chardonnay (66%), Viognier (34%)

White Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✧ |
Antinoo shows a brilliant straw yellow color and nuances of straw yellow,
very transparent. The nose reveals intense, clean, pleasing and refined
aromas that start with hints of banana, apple and plum followed by aromas
of hazelnut, vanilla, mineral, hawthorn, pear and grapefruit. The mouth has
good correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and however balanced by
alcohol, good body, intense flavors, agreeable roundness. The finish is
persistent with flavors of banana, apple and plum. Antinoo ages in barrique
for 8 months followed by 12 months of aging in bottle.
