Chianti Classico Querciabella shows an intense ruby red color and nuances
of ruby red, moderate transparency. The nose reveals intense, clean,
pleasing and refined aromas which start with hints of black cherry, plum
and violet followed by aromas of blueberry, blackberry, vanilla, tobacco,
mace and chocolate. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a tannic
attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors,
pleasing roundness. The finish is persistent with flavors of black cherry,
plum and blackberry. Chianti Classico Querciabella ages for 12 months in
barrique. |

In poche parole: finalmente un Chianti che mi piace e mi entusiasma. Bello, preciso e compiuto, è un piacere da avere nel calice, e soprattutto, al naso con i suoi profumi varietali senza che il legno li mortifichi.
Un bell'esempio di Chianti che anche altri produttori della zona dovrebbero seguire.

Vibrant and perfect with food, a Chianti with a beautiful and lively ruby color. Wonderful nose of wild fruits, a long lasting mouth and balanced tannins. Maybe the best Chianti I have ever had with a lovely spicy touch.
