Barbera d'Asti Sopra Berruti shows an intense ruby red color and nuances of purple red, little transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean and pleasing aromas that start with hints of cherry, plum and violet followed by aromas of blueberry, raspberry and cyclamen. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a properly tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing crispness. The finish is persistent with flavors of cherry, plum and raspberry. A part of Barbera d'Asti Sopra Berruti ages for 6 months in cask.
