Score: ✧✧✧✧✧ |
This wine shows an intense ruby red color and nuances of ruby red, little
transparency. The nose reveals personality with intense, clean, pleasing,
elegant and refined aromas which start with good hints of black cherry,
plum and violet followed by good and intense aromas of blueberry,
blackberry, tobacco, licorice, vanilla, toffee, cocoa and pleasing hints
of menthol, cinnamon and pink pepper. In the mouth has very good correspondence to the
nose, a slightly tannic attack and however well balanced by alcohol, full
body, intense flavors, good tannins, agreeable. The finish is very
persistent with long and clean flavors of black cherry, blueberry and
plum. A great wine. Camartina ages in barrique for 18 months followed by
some months of aging in bottle.
