Brilliant straw yellow and nuances of straw yellow, very transparent. Intense, clean, pleasing, refined and elegant, starts with hints of gooseberry, passion fruit and peach followed by aromas of elder flower, broom, pineapple, pear, citron, apple, lychee, grapefruit, nettle, bell pepper, sage and thyme. Crisp attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, agreeable. Very persistent finish with long flavors of gooseberry, passion fruit and peach. 5 months, part in cask, part in steel tanks.
