Score: ✧✧✧✧✭ |
This Franciacorta shows a pale golden yellow color and nuances of straw
yellow, very transparent, fine and persistent perlage. The nose reveals
intense, clean, pleasing, refined and elegant aromas which start with hints
of apple, plum and banana followed by aromas of hazelnut, hawthorn,
grapefruit, bread crust, yeast, pineapple, butter and praline. The mouth
has good correspondence to the nose, an effervescent and crisp attack,
however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, agreeable. The
finish is persistent with flavors of apple, plum and grapefruit. A well
made wine. Franciacorta Brut Millesimato ages in bottle on its lees for at
least 48 months.
