Carmen Puthod shows an intense greenish yellow color and nuances of straw
yellow, very transparent. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and
refined aromas that start with hints of apple, plum and anise followed by
aromas of broom, almond, hawthorn, pear and vanilla. The mouth has good
correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and however balanced by alcohol,
good body, intense flavors. The finish is persistent with flavors of apple,
plum and almond. Carmen Puthod is produced with Sangiovese grape vinified
in white and ages for 8 months in barrique.
