Vin Santo del Chianti (Tuscany)
Malvasia Bianca
|
Sweet Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✭ |
Vin Santo del Chianti shows a brilliant amber yellow color and nuances of
amber yellow, transparent. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and
refined aromas which start with hints of raisin, dried fig and almond
followed by aromas of honey, date, candied fruits, vanilla and citrus fruit
peel. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a sweet attack and
however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing
crispness. The finish is persistent with flavors of raisin, dried fig and
almond. Vin Santo del Chianti ages for 7 years in small oak barrels. |
