La Masa shows a pale golden yellow color and nuances of straw yellow, very
transparent. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas
which start with hints of apple, pear and plum followed by aromas of
almond, hawthorn, citrus fruits and vanilla. The mouth has good
correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and however balanced by alcohol,
good body, intense flavors, pleasing roundness. The finish is persistent
with flavors of apple, plum and almond. La Masa is produced with late
harvested grapes. This wine ages for 2 months in barrique, 2 months in
steel tanks and for 6 months in bottle. |
