Score: ✧✧✧✧ |
Franciacorta Brut Cellarius shows a pale straw yellow color and nuances
of straw yellow, very transparent, fine and persistent perlage. The nose
reveals intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas which start with hints
of plum, bread crust and apple followed by aromas of banana, acacia, citrus
fruits, yeast, butter, pear and hazelnut. The mouth has good correspondence
to the nose, an effervescent and crisp attack, however balanced by alcohol,
good body, intense flavors, pleasing roundness. The finish is persistent
with flavors of plum, banana and hazelnut. A small part of the base wine
ferments and ages in barrique for 6 months. Franciacorta Brut Cellarius
referments in bottle on it lees for 30 months. |
